1. Who you are dealing with

METASILVER (metasilver.org) is published and operated by TEKİNKAYA İÇERİK STÜDYOSU ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, Trade registry number 843213-0, registered at Çiçekçi Mah. Karlıtepe Sok. No:45 Kat:2 Daire:4 Bahçelievler İstanbul Türkiye (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@metasilver.org.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

2. What this site is for

This site publishes general educational and informational writing about information security. It is made available free of charge and without registration.

Our writing sells nothing. It is not an offer to sell anything, an invitation to invest in anything, or a solicitation of any kind, and it carries no advertising within it.

The only commercial element this site may carry is the sponsorship slot described in section 8: at most one marked advertising space per page, kept outside the content. Anything offered there is the sponsor's offer, not ours.

3. It is not advice

METASILVER publishes security education only. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset.

The content is general in nature and cannot account for your circumstances, your jurisdiction, your configuration or your risk position. It does not create any professional relationship between you and us — not an advisory relationship, not a consultancy engagement, and not a security assessment of anything you operate. For advice about your situation, consult a suitably qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.

4. Accuracy, currency and limits

We take reasonable care: technical claims are sourced from primary material and each article lists its references, as set out in our editorial policy. Even so, security is a moving subject. Software changes, standards are revised, vendors alter their behaviour, and an article that was accurate when published may not remain so.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that the content is complete, current, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted.

We do not warrant that following anything described here will prevent any particular attack, loss or compromise. Security measures reduce risk; they do not eliminate it, and we make no claim of guaranteed protection, absolute security or recovery of anything lost.

5. How you may use the content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, code, diagrams and images on this site are owned by TEKİNKAYA İÇERİK STÜDYOSU ANONİM ŞİRKETİ or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other applicable rights.

You may, without asking us:

• read, print and store pages for your own personal or internal use;
• quote a short extract for the purposes of review, criticism, reporting or teaching, provided the extract is attributed to METASILVER and accompanied by a link to the page it came from;
• link to any page on this site from anywhere, without permission and without a fee, provided the link does not imply an endorsement or association that does not exist.

You may not, without our written permission:

• republish an article in whole or in substantial part, in any medium;
• present our material as your own, or as the output of another publication;
• use the content or our name in advertising, or in a way that suggests we endorse a product, service or organisation;
• use automated means to copy the site at a scale or rate that degrades its availability for others.

6. Trademarks and third-party names

Product names, company names and logos mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used descriptively, to identify the thing being written about, and their use implies no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement in either direction.

METASILVER is editorially independent. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, supported by, or endorsed by any company, product or service named in its articles.

7. Links to other sites

We link to external sources so that you can verify what we say. Those sites are not under our control. We do not endorse their content, their products or their practices, and we accept no responsibility for them — including for any change made to a page after we linked to it. When you follow an outbound link you leave this site, and that site's own terms and privacy practices apply.

8. Sponsored content

This site may carry one clearly labelled sponsorship slot per page, and never more than one. It is advertising: the space is paid for. A sponsor buys placement only, and buys no influence over what we publish. Full rules are in our editorial policy. Where no slot is shown, this section simply has nothing to apply to.

The presence of a sponsor is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a warranty by us of that organisation, its products, its services or its claims, and we accept no responsibility for them. Any dealing you have with a sponsor is between you and them, on their terms. Sponsor links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow".

Sponsorship is sold for a period, not by impression or click, and involves no tracking, profiling or measurement of visitors of any kind.

9. Acceptable use

When using this site you agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
• interfere with the site's operation or availability, including by overloading it;
• send us unlawful, abusive, deceptive or bulk unsolicited material;
• impersonate METASILVER or its operating company, or misrepresent an association with either;
• use anything published here to plan or carry out an attack against a system you are not authorised to test.

Our material is published so that people can defend themselves and understand what they are being shown. Using it for the opposite purpose is a breach of these terms and, in most jurisdictions, of the law.

If you find a security problem with this site, please tell us at security@metasilver.org and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it publicly.

10. Messages you send us

You are responsible for what you send. Please do not send confidential material, and do not send secrets: Never send us passwords, recovery phrases, private keys, seed words, one-time codes, screenshots of wallet or banking screens, or any other secret. We will never ask for them, and we cannot use them.

If you send us a correction or a suggestion, you agree we may act on it and publish the resulting change without any obligation or payment to you. We will not publish your name or your message without asking you first. How correspondence is handled is described in the privacy policy.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content — including any financial loss, loss of data, loss of assets, business interruption or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.

12. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, and we may amend these terms. The version on this page is the one in force, and its effective date is shown above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the amended terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and execution offices of İstanbul shall have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
