It is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, supported by, endorsed by, or in any partnership with any company, product, protocol or service described in its articles. Where a product or company is named, it is named because naming it is necessary to describe documented behaviour accurately. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

That statement concerns the organisations we write about. It does not mean the site carries no advertising: it may carry one clearly marked sponsorship slot, kept outside the writing and described in section 6. No advertiser that is the subject of a current article is accepted, so a sponsor is never something we have written about.

We do not act for any vendor, do not speak on any vendor's behalf, and are not a support channel for anyone's product. If you need help with a third-party product, use that vendor's own published support channels — reached from their own website, not from a link someone sent you.

2. Education, not advice

METASILVER publishes security education only. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset.

In particular, nothing on this site is or should be treated as:

• a recommendation to acquire, hold, dispose of or use any asset, token, product or service;
• a price forecast, a yield or return projection, an APY comparison, or a trading signal;
• an assessment of the merits, safety or suitability of any investment or platform;
• legal, regulatory, accounting or tax guidance for your situation.

The content is general. It cannot take account of your circumstances, your jurisdiction or your risk position, and reading it creates no advisory or professional relationship. For advice on your own situation, consult a suitably qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.

3. No guarantees about security

Security measures reduce risk. They do not eliminate it, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

We make no claim of guaranteed protection, absolute security, complete coverage of any threat, or immunity from any attack. Following anything described on this site may make you a harder target; it cannot make you an impossible one. Threats change, software changes, and an article that was accurate on its publication date may not remain accurate.

We take reasonable care with what we publish, as set out in the editorial policy, but we give no warranty that the content is complete, current or free from error, and you rely on it at your own discretion.

4. No recovery service, and a warning about those who offer one

METASILVER does not offer, provide, broker or refer any service that recovers lost or stolen assets. We cannot reverse a transaction, retrieve a transferred asset, restore access to a wallet or account, or influence any of those outcomes. Nobody at this publication has that ability, and we will never contact you claiming to.

If someone approaches you offering to recover assets — for a fee, for a “gas payment”, for a “verification deposit”, or in exchange for a recovery phrase — treat it as a further attempt to defraud you. This is a well-documented pattern that specifically targets people who have already reported a loss.

5. What this site will never ask you to do

No page on metasilver.org will ever ask you to:

• connect, verify, restore or synchronise a wallet;
• sign a message, approve a transaction, grant an allowance or transfer any asset;
• disclose a recovery phrase, private key, password, one-time code or any other secret;
• install an extension or application, run a file, or start a remote-support or screen-sharing session;
• make a payment, claim an airdrop, take part in a token sale, or act on any financial offer.

There are no such controls anywhere on this site, and there never will be. Any sponsorship slot shown under section 6 is advertising and links to the sponsor's own website, which is not part of this site and is governed by their terms; advertisers offering any of the things listed above are refused outright. If you encounter a page that appears to be METASILVER and does any of the above, it is an impersonation. Please report it to security@metasilver.org.

6. Sponsorship is not endorsement

This site may carry one labelled sponsorship slot per page. That space is paid for. It is not a recommendation, an endorsement, a review, or any statement by us that the sponsor's product, service or claims are sound, safe or suitable for you.

We do not verify sponsors' claims and we accept no liability for their products, services or conduct. Any dealing with a sponsor is between you and them. Sponsorship buys placement only and never influences what we publish; the rules are set out in our editorial policy, including the categories — exchanges, wallets, tokens, trading and asset-recovery services among them — that we do not accept advertising from at all.

External links are provided so that you can verify our claims at their source. Linked sites are not under our control; we do not endorse their content, products or practices, and we are not responsible for them or for changes made to them after we linked. Links to a vendor's own documentation are informational and are not a recommendation to use, install or purchase anything.

8. Availability and errors

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Where we get something wrong we correct it on the page and date the change. If you have found an error, please tell us at editorial@metasilver.org.
